After all, the system contains a checkbox to state if the student is present or not which the user must fill while maintaining the record. He/she can also simply maintain a student’s attendance record from his/her profile with ease. While viewing the attendance record, it displays all the available information of both absent and present students with information like name registration number, week, date, and unit. An admin has the right to approve and ban users from the system. Also, by accessing the admin panel, a user has each and every control of the system including membership management, group management, recent activities, setting up permissions for users, database backups, and much more.

One thing that needs to point out is that the admin first controls all the permissions to each and every member regarding their viewings in certain records with limited action or so ever. For the member’s panel, the user has to sign up by filling up basic details. Then, the members can log on to the system and perform actions that the system allows them to. The member’s panel actually refers to the teacher’s account but can be in use for others too; which totally depends upon the admin side. The common thing each and every member can perform is regarding the insertion of student’s details, units, courses, and attendance. Besides, the admin must set permission for the management aspects of such records.

Filter, Export Data

Another cool thing about this project is that users can easily export each and every available record under students, units, courses, and attendance section as a CSV file. Also to mention, the system also allows direct preview and printing of the records through it. The system counts all the available students, units, courses and displays them under the dashboard respectively. Lastly, there’s also a data filter section besides search functionality where users can easily filter the data according to their needs and requirements on time. Other minor feature includes updating profile information, viewing control settings and changing passwords.

Instructions: How to Run?

• After you finish downloading the project, unzip the project file and head over to your XAMPP directory.
• There you’ll find a folder naming “htdocs”.
• Inside the “htdocs” folder, paste the project folder (not the .zip one, but the extracted one).
• Open your favorite browser; we recommend using Google Chrome or Mozilla Firefox.
• Then, go to URL “http://localhost/phpmyadmin“.
• Create a Database with a name that is provided inside the “01 LOGIN DETAILS & PROJECT INFO.txt”.
• Click on the “Import” tab and choose the database file (.sql) which is provided under the folder naming “DATABASE FILE”.
• After setting up all these, go to URL “http://localhost/[ ENTER_PROJECT_FOLDER_NAME_HERE ]“
• All the login details are provided inside the project folder, check that out and enter in order to use it.
