Also, the system allows inserting employee information as well as displays all the available data such as employee’s name, contact, department, type. The project only contains an Admin Panel. An admin has to fill up such details in the amount for setting up the deductions. On the other hand, the admin can view and manage the overtime rate of the employee. Not just the overtime rate, but also the salary rate. For this, the user just has to set up a certain amount which the system uses for calculating the total net amount of each and every employee. Besides, it contains another field as a bonus which is common; i.e it must be set by the admin him/herself according to their choice of work. For simplicity, the user can make use of the search features in order to filter out required results.
Last but not least, a clean and simple dashboard is presented with simple color combinations for greater user experience while using this payroll system in PHP. Instructions: How to Run?
- After you finish downloading the project, unzip the project file and head over to your XAMPP directory.
- There you’ll find a folder naming “htdocs”.
- Inside the “htdocs” folder, paste the project folder (not the .zip one, but the extracted one).
- Open your favorite browser; we recommend using Google Chrome or Mozilla Firefox.
- Then, go to URL “http://localhost/phpmyadmin“.
- Create a Database with a name that is provided inside the “01 LOGIN DETAILS & PROJECT INFO.txt”.
- Click on the “Import” tab and choose the database file (.sql) which is provided under the folder naming “DATABASE FILE”.
- After setting up all these, go to URL “http://localhost/[ ENTER_PROJECT_FOLDER_NAME_HERE ]“
- All the login details are provided inside the project folder, check that out and enter in order to use it.
