On the other hand, an admin has the right to manage control over the system. And speaking of the system, it means the control over their employee’s leave days. An admin has the right to manage leave, view employees and their leave histories. As soon as an employee submits his/her leave, it appears under the admin panel where the admin can approve or reject it. The system displays each request with the employee’s username, leave reason, and dates. Additionally, the system also calculates the total number of leave days. After taking a certain action, the status of a particular leave request changes into the requested one, which is viewable from both accounts.
Employees’ Leave History and Account Management
Besides, an admin can view all the available employee’s record and their leave history. Although the admin cannot add employees manually, he/she can list and remove them. The user section contains all the information such as the employee’s username, full name, gender, department, city, and contact information. Also, from the employees’ history section, the system lists out all the available leave records to date. It consists of an employee’s username, leaves types, reason, dates, total days, and its current status. And here, current status refers if the leave request has been approved, rejected, or in a pending state.

Instructions: How to Run?
- After you finish downloading the project, unzip the project file and head over to your XAMPP directory.
- There you’ll find a folder naming “htdocs”.
- Inside the “htdocs” folder, paste the project folder (not the .zip one, but the extracted one).
- Open your favorite browser; we recommend using Google Chrome or Mozilla Firefox.
- Then, go to URL “http://localhost/phpmyadmin“.
- Create a Database with a name that is provided inside the “01 LOGIN DETAILS & PROJECT INFO.txt”.
- Click on the “Import” tab and choose the database file (.sql) which is provided under the folder naming “DATABASE FILE”.
- After setting up all these, go to URL “http://localhost/[ PROJECT_FOLDER_NAME ]/“
- All the login details are provided inside the project folder, check that out and enter in order to use it.
