In addition, the system allows generating invoices too. There only a user panel in this simple project. In an overview of this web application, the user can proceed with billing management. For this, the user has to enter the receiver’s name, address, invoice number with the billing date. After setting up these pieces of information, the user can proceed towards managing products. Here, it contains a number of fields such as product name, quantity, rate, and tax amount. The system automatically calculates the total bill of the customer and displays it.
Invoices and Other
After completing the billing procedure, the user can download the invoice in PDF format. This PDF contains the customer name, invoice number, date with all the product names, and total amount before/after tax. Also, each record is permanently saved, so the user can download invoices at any time. It also allows updating billing records afterward and deleting them. This project does not contain features such as customer management, yet it allows adding a customer’s name manually during billings. Besides, a user can search records with any terms like invoice number, rate, customer name, or date.

Instructions: How to Run?
- After you finish downloading the project, unzip the project file and head over to your XAMPP directory.
- There you’ll find a folder naming “htdocs”.
- Inside the “htdocs” folder, paste the project folder (not the .zip one, but the extracted one).
- Open your favorite browser; we recommend using Google Chrome or Mozilla Firefox.
- Then, go to URL “http://localhost/phpmyadmin“.
- Create a Database with a name that is provided inside the “01 LOGIN DETAILS & PROJECT INFO.txt”.
- Click on the “Import” tab and choose the database file (.sql) which is provided under the folder naming “DATABASE FILE”.
- After setting up all these, go to URL “http://localhost/[ PROJECT_FOLDER_NAME ]/“
- All the login details are provided inside the project folder, check that out and enter in order to use it.

Ohh come on…. it literally says “Unknown database ‘billinginvoice’” Meaning you’ve not created any db naming “billinginvoice” and imported the given db file!!
