For adding stock items, an admin has to provide details such as name, category, bill number, detail, supplier, and department. The user can allocate items for available departments. And after allocating it, the items can be viewable only for that particular department. For the system, the admin can add various departments for allocating stocks to each (if needed). Also, in order to add a supplier’s record, an admin has to provide the supplier’s name and details to it.

Item Reports and Settings

After the management side, this project contains report sections as well. The user can generate available stock item reports. Also, an admin can generate daily reports in PDF format which displays all the stock items entries on the current date. In short, the daily reports get generated automatically in PDF format and not on the web page. The downloads will start automatically as soon as the user request daily reports. Instructions: How to Run?

• After you finish downloading the project, unzip the project file and head over to your XAMPP directory.
• There you’ll find a folder naming “htdocs”.
• Inside the “htdocs” folder, paste the project folder (not the .zip one, but the extracted one).
• Open your favorite browser; we recommend using Google Chrome or Mozilla Firefox.
• Then, go to URL “http://localhost/phpmyadmin“.
• Create a Database with a name that is provided inside the “01 LOGIN DETAILS & PROJECT INFO.txt”.
• Click on the “Import” tab and choose the database file (.sql) which is provided under the folder naming “DATABASE FILE”.
• After setting up all these, go to URL “http://localhost/[ PROJECT_FOLDER_NAME ]/“
• All the login details are provided inside the project folder, check that out and enter in order to use it.
